TIRANA, December 1/ATA/ Since March 13, when the first two cases of COVID-19 infected were presented, this virus has infected 39 thousand 596 people in Kosovo. While 25 thousand and one were cured of infection with COVID-19, there are 1 thousand 16 people who died as a result of this virus.
Meanwhile, according to the latest data from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, 13,579 are active cases of COVID-19.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK with the RT-PCR method, there were tested a total of 1,219 samples by HUCSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 539 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours, there were reported 11 deaths with SARS CoV-2 positive. The total number of positive cases is 39,596 cases out of 143,988 suspects in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,016 deaths. During the last 24 hours, 574 patients have been cured, while the total number of the cured so far is 25,001 cases.
