TIRANA, November 23/ATA/ – The Speaker of the Assembly Gramoz Ruçi received the new Chairman of the OSCE Presence in Albania Vincenzo Del Monaco on occasion of beginning of his mission in Albania.
The Speaker of the Assembly Ruçi congratulated the Head of the Presence Del Monaco for the new job in Albania and noted that the Albanian Parliament has a very good cooperation with the OSCE Presence in Tirana, which is a reliable partner for Albania.
“Albania appreciates the work of the OSCE Presence in Albania. The Presence has done a good job over the years in support of the comprehensive reforms of Albania and the agenda for the modernization of the Albanian society, in accordance with the needs and priorities of the country “, said Ruçi.
“I am determined to continue the very good cooperation with the Assembly and other Albanian institutions to further the achievements so far as well as build and strengthen confidence in this cooperation,” said Head of the Presence Del Monaco.
During the meeting were discussed some other aspects of cooperation such as the Albanian Presidency of the OSCE and the close cooperation between the Assembly and the OSCE, especially for the adaptation of parliamentary activity to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and guaranteeing transparency and communication with the media and the public./p.s./
