TIRANA, Nov 23 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama visited on Monday the offices of Lufthansa Industry Solutions, at Air Albania Stadium, where roughly 200 Albanian young women and men, software developers, work for the German Group known worldwide as Lufthansa and thanks to the quality of their work are attracting more German companies to our country.
“Congratulations and respect for these young people who honor themselves, their parents and Albania, with their talents and impressive work, thanks to which the company has taken the decision to increase twice as many the number of employees from Albania in Albania, as well as to expand the investment portfolio in our country, ” Rama said.
I am glad, Prime Minister said, that today, despite the distance, we meet again after an occasion we had when this project was still in its infancy. “I am quite impressed with I see here, the implementation of this first phase of this project with so many young women and men from Albania who, without having to move from their home work in this environment, just as if they were anywhere else in Germany and offer high quality service in the view of Lufthansa, which is one of the most prestigious German companies, ” said Rama
The Prime Minister went on saying: “I am thrilled to bits that the human and professional development of these young Albanians takes place in the heart of Tirana, thanks to this fantastic investment of Lufthansa in Albania and thanks to this very useful interaction, not only in terms of well-functioning and development of the company, but also the professional growth of all young people.”
PM expressed his gratitude to the company which not only chose and believed in Albania as a country where the most prestigious German investments are implemented but also confirmed that it have made the right choice.
“I wish and hope that in the meantime you become the ambassadors of Albania in the German business environment where many who prejudice Albania because they do not know, or know through the stereotype created for 1 thousand and one reasons, that the reality of Albania for investments is optimal for German companies. I have repeated it and I strongly believe that the arrival of German companies in Albania is not only an economic issue, it significantly contributes to increase of foreign direct investments in Albania, ” said Rama.
