TIRANA, Nov.13 /ATA/- The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha held on Friday a meeting with representatives of the Albanian Diabetes Association where they discussed the problems of diabetics in dealing with the pandemic situation.
During the conversation with the chairman of the Democratic Party, Basha the representatives of the association recounted their experiences during the pandemic and the needs as one of the most vulnerable groups to COVID-19.
In his remarks, DP leader Basha said that, “we should join forces to raise awareness of the risk of pandemic, especially in terms of the high-risk population, the diabetics, and I urge people in the first place to take protective measures.”
Also, we must continue to reiterate the demands for increasing Covid-19 testing, reimbursement of medicine package, hospital capacity, assistance to doctors and nurses, and the overview of protocol security Applying the most effective treatment for both patient and health care system.
