TIRANA, Nov 11 /ATA/ – Albanian national side beat Kosovo 2-1 in a friendly soccer match played at the Elbasan Arena on Wednesday afternoon.
The national team headed by Italian coach Edoardo Reja took the lead in the 31st minute of first half with a goal scored by forward Bekim Balaj.
Myrto Uzuni, who plays as a winger for Hungarian club Ferencváros, scored the second goal in the 65th minute.
Lazio’s striker Vedat Murriqi scored in a penalty kick for Kosovo side in the 85th minute.
Albania will play the next two home games under the League of the Nations tournament against Kazakhistan on Nov 15 and Belarus three days later.
