PRISTINA, Oct 30 /ATA/ During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology at NIPHK and private laboratories using the method RT-PCR, a total of 1,058 samples taken from the Kosovo’s Clinical and
Hospital Service and tracking of case contacts on the field were tested, of which 284 turned out to be positive. Within 24 hours a fatality was reported due to SARS CoV-2 (1 case in Cardiology Ward, National University Clinical Centre).
The total number of positive cases has reached 18.910 out of 91.098 persons suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2, while the number of fatalities has reached 674 .
In the last 24 hours, 72 patients have recovered putting the overall number of cured cases to date at 15.367, while the number of active cases is 2.869.
