TIRANA, Oct 9 /ATA/- The capacity utilization rate in industry increased by 5.3% in the second quarter of this year, the Bank of Albania announced in the periodic survey report on this indicator.
According to the BoA, the capacity utilization rate has increased in the long run for most economic sectors.
Thus, businesses in the service sector report a growing capacity utilization rate of about 69.4%, or 0.9% more than last year.
Even in the trade sector, the capacity utilization rate (around 73.9%) continues to remain at its average compared to a year ago, despite the increase in both quarterly and annual terms. Regarding the expectations for the performance of the business in the next quarter, the respective balance for trade increased either.
