TIRANA, October 8 /ATA/ The consumer prices marked a slight increase in September, with the main impact given by the food group.
INSTAT issued today the Consumer Price Index, according to which inflation in September is 1.5%. A year ago inflation was 1.3%. The monthly change of the consumer price index is 0.4%.
The annual increase in prices in September, according to INSTAT, was mainly influenced by the group “food and non-alcoholic beverages” by 3.8%, followed by the group “rent, water, fuel and energy” by 1.5%.
On the other hand, the prices of the group “transport” decreased by 4.6%, followed by the groups “clothing and footwear” by 0.7%./a.gjonaj//a.a/r.e/p.s./
