TIRANA, October 5 /ATA/ Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Evis Kushi inspected today various schools in Fier for antiCOVID measures and other aspects in function of the teaching progress.
During the inspection in the “Janaq Kilica” high school, the 9-year school “Jani Boçova”, the 9-year school “Liri Gero”, Minister Kushi said that we took a decision in the Council of Ministers to have 1 thousand additional part-time teachers or on temporary contracts available for infected teachers or for supplementary classes. “Supplementary teacher hours will also be paid.”
“Since Monday, I have been on the ground to see closely how the teaching is taking place, what difficulties there are, how the anti-Covid measures are being respected, so that wherever we see problems, we can take measures to solve them,” said Kushi.
The minister said that, “Thankfully, students, teachers and heads of educational institutions are fully aware of observance of the rules and their implementation is at an optimal level. Increased personal care protects oneself and others.”
