TIRANA, Sept 30 /ATA/ An additional 1000 teachers will be employed to meet the needs for education staff during the pandemic period in the school year 2020-2021.
It was with this news that Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Evis Kushi, started the meeting with the heads of regional directorates and local education offices, which focused on the new school year 2020-2021 and the actions towards addressing the concerns during this pandemic period.
“An additional 1,000 teachers to meet the needs for educational staff during the pandemic period in the academic year 2020-2021, was approved today by decision of the Council of Ministers. With this news, I started today the meeting with the heads of regional directorates and local education offices, with whom we discussed the progress of the new school year 2020-2021 and the actions towards addressing the concerns during this period. In this context, I thanked them for successful start of the new school year and put the emphasis on compliance with anti-COVID protocols in every educational institution, as well as on increased efforts and field inspections to guarantee that the rules are observed by all ,” said Kushi.
