TIRANA, September 22/ATA/- Since March 13, when the first two cases of COVID-19 infection occurred in Kosovo, the number of people infected with the corona virus has reached 15,142.
While 12, 674 citizens managed to recover from this virus, 615 others died due to infection with COVID-19.
According to the Institute data, within the last 24 hours, there were recorded 79 new cases of COVID-19, while 104 have recovered and were reported 2 deaths.
Whereas the active number of cases with COVID-19 is 1,853, the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo reported.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology were tested a total of 596 samples taken from tracking of case contacts in the field, of which result 79 positive cases. Within 24 hours, there were reported 2 cases of death with SARS CoV-2 positive ,” the Institute said. //a.i/
