Electoral Code / Spiropali: Constitutional changes, objective reality, majority has offered its options

TIRANA, Sept 18 /ATA/ –By  I. Vata/- The Minister of State for the Relations with Parliament, also government spokesperson, Elisa Spiropali said on Friday that the opposition is unable to come to terms and accept the fact that the constitutional changes have been already adopted and they are an objective reality.

“The amendments to the Constitution provide for the migrants’ vote in election and we are looking forward to seeing the Electoral Code reflect the changes, but we are still waiting for the draft. We have already provided our options,” Spiropali said in a TV interview.

“Our patience is limitless. For around two years, we have been waiting the opposition and they now refuse to accept the fact that the Constitutional changes have been adopted and they are now an objective reality. They say we shouldn’t have passed the Constitutional amendments. We have voted them in Parliament and we expect them be reflected on the Electoral Code,” Spiropali said.
