TIRANA, Sept 18 /ATA/ Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, during the official stay in Skopje held meetings with heads of Albanian parties in North Macedonia.
“Together with the chairman of Alliance for Albanians, Ziadin Sela, the chairman of the BESA Movement, Bilal Kasami, the chairman of Albanian Democratic Party, Menduh Thaçi, as well as the chairman of the Alternative, Afrim Gashi, we highlighted the irreplaceable role in development of internal democracy, the process of NATO membership and the path of North Macedonia towards the European Union, ” said Cakaj.
He stressed that “beyond political differences, the contribution of the Albanian factor in North Macedonia to protection of national interests, general institutional development and preservation of Euro-Atlantic direction of the country, remains inalienable.”
