TIRANA, Sept 16/ATA/- Union of economic operators “iC Consulenten Ziviltechniker GESmbh”, engineering company registered in Austria, “ELEA iC d.o.o and IBE d.d svetovanje, projeiranje in inzeniring”, engineering company registered in Slovenia, and SEED Consulting sh.p.k. and “InfraKonsult” sh.p.k., a local company has been selected as the winning company for the methodology project on the construction of the Llogara Tunnel.
According to the Tender Evaluation Commission this union provides the best technical solution, the capacities and the appropriate technical staff qualifications to realize the project on the construction of the Llogara tunnel.
After the expiry of the legal deadlines, there will be launched the economic bids as well as will be announced the winner of the competition. 7 companies participated in the competition and 2 of them have been selected for the final stage.
All participating competitors were economic operators led by foreign companies with experience in the field of tunnel design and construction.
The representatives of the two selected companies presented their projects in the event of September 15, attended by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Blendi Klosi, members of the Tender Evaluation Commission and representatives of the EBRD.
“Road safety is very important for us and in both studios this was underlined along with cost efficiency which is very important for us. Therefore, the jury will take into account these data “- said Balluku.
“We must start within this year the necessary procedures for the construction of the Llogara tunnel. Llogara tunnel will be made with funds from the state budget and time for us is very important for the successful fulfilment of this investment “- said Balluku. //a.i/
