TIRANA, September 16/ATA/- The Authority for Information on Former State Security Documents has declassified the history of State Security, worked by this structure, in 7 volumes, and the documentation can be made available to those interested.
The ideological concept of Security appears on the first page of the History of the Security Weapon of Albania: “The Intelligence Service was born in ancient times, when society was divided into antagonistic classes and the class war began between them. It was born with the birth of the state as an integral part of it and has a class character. The ruling classes, which have the state apparatus in their hands, use the intelligence service to secure control over other classes and to achieve their class goals. So, in the communist ideological concept, the State Security also has a class character. It creates various forms and methods to overthrow the power of the bourgeoisie and to build a new society without exploiting classes”.
The most important principle, which shows the true nature of the State Security is that of the leading role of the Party: “State Security is the sharp, loyal and beloved weapon of the Party, which is controlled and directed by the Party. The main rules were defined on how the State Security bodies should work and inform, with the basic rule. The Security organs should inform the Party on all their activity, considering this as a basic principle that made the Security be controlled and led by the Party”.
The State Security Historians, prepared by this structure, in 7 volumes, is already declassified by Authority and can be made available to those interested, in accordance with the law./p.s./
