PRISTINA, September 9 /ATA/ – Since March 13, when the first cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Kosovo, the number of people infected with COVID-19 has risen to 14,301 cases. Of these, 10,782 have managed to recover from the deadly virus.
But, there are 568 others who have lost their lives due to coronavirus infection. Whereas, yesterday, the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), announced that after a while there were no victims.
The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo is 2 thousand 951.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK there were tested with the RT-PCR method and in private laboratories a total of 481 samples, of which 97 are positive cases. No deaths from SARS CoV-2 positive were reported within 24 hours. The total number of positive cases is 14,301 cases out of 54,924 suspects in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 568 deaths.
