TIRANA, Sept 1 /ATA/ Albania has an abundance of natural resources for Renewable Energy investments, therefore business is showing a growing interest to invest in this sector.
Also, the energy sector in Albania is a strategic source for sustainable economic growth, given the diversity of energy sources and its geographical location, where the diversification of renewable energy is taking precedence.
Official data from the Albanian Association of Banks show that last year saw 69 loans in the amount of 1,895,856,000 ALL extended for renewable energy.
Meanwhile, the credit portfolio at the end of 2019 for investments in this sector recorded 255 loans in the amount of ALL 16.762.894.000 . e.xh/j.p//r.e/sm/
