TIRANA, Aug 21 /ATA/ “Odeon” square in the city of Pogradec will soon have a new look.
The Municipality of Pogradec, publishing some pictures of how this square will look like, announces that “we already have the project for transformation of one of the areas, which for years was in dire need of this investment that will be implemented through funds out of the municipality budget. ”
In sync with the square of roses, the Odeon will be abuzz with artistic and cultural activities, but now with a completely different look, ” says the municipality.
The Odeon is located in the city of Pogradec and represents a multifunctional public space at the end of
‘Europa’ promenade near the pedestrian crossing on the shores of Lake Pogradec.
The open-air amphitheater is designed to provide spaces for sitting, relaxing, as well as recreational and entertainment grounds for children and adults.
With a sitting capacity of 600 slots and about 2000 people in total, the Odeon was conceived to include several varied architectural features such as: stairs, fragmented cuboidal shapes, multiple orientations that offer a variety of city panoramas, integration of vegetation and other natural elements of local character.
Pogradec is a permanent tourist attraction that boasts a charming lake, nature, culture, history, cuisine, it attracts many local and foreign tourists in every season of the year.
