-Gjorm-Lasko Bridge segment is being asphalted
TIRANA, August 13/ATA/- The works on the construction site of the “Lumi i Vlorës” road continue with asphalting of the Gjorm-Lasko Bridge segment.
The MP of the Socialist Party Damian Gjiknuri shared views in the social media from this important infrastructure project where intensive work is underway to realize an investment with modern standards and according to the best road parameters.
Gjiknuri stated that, “The asphalting process is going ahead in the segment Gjorm-Lasko Bridge “.
“This is another promised infrastructural work that is becoming a reality by the government of the Socialist Party and PM Rama,” he said.
The project also envisages civil works, works of art, road safety elements, lighting system, pedestrian crossings.
Village centers are envisaged to be treated as urban areas including sidewalk construction, lighting system and greenery. Considered the heart of Labëria, the region has 50,000 inhabitants in 100 villages.
The picturesque landscape, the ups and downs of the relief, the history and the traditions constitute a tremendous potential for development.
In addition to connecting the villages of the region with Vlora, the project aims to connect Vlora with Himara and create the closest and fastest access for Gjirokastra and Tepelena towards the south coast./m.m/p.s./
