TIRANA, August 10/ATA/- Durrës Port Authority informed that during the last weekend there was a high handling activity. According to the data provided, it turns out that 7 merchant ships were handled with a total of 14,394 tons of goods of different types and 1,434 container units.
In the Container Terminal is being handled the merchant ship “Libertas H”, with 481 pieces of containers, while the handling process is nearing completion; the ship “MSC Tia” with 953 pieces of containers, located in the mole no. 6 of this terminal. About 4,250 tons of bulk cement from the ship “Itidal”, are currently in the process of handling in pier no.10 of the Eastern Terminal.
Meanwhile, the ship “Frisiano Ino” is sailing towards Durrës, which is expected to anchor in the Western Terminal in the coming hours and about 1,200 tons of iron will be unloaded. z.tosku / /a.g/p.s./
