TIRANA, Aug 5 /ATA/ Inspection teams of the National Food Authority have conducted on Wednesday 507 inspections as part of the anti-Covid Task Force.
In all monitoring operations as part of the Taskforce against COVID, the emphasis is put on strict adherence to security protocols, sanitization of the premises, wearing masks in enclosed areas as well as maintaining physical distance as precautionary measures to contain the spread of the virus.
During the inspections, a penalty was imposed on a subject for failure to provide hygienic-sanitary conditions, renew documentation and presence of pesticide residues in vegetables above the norms.
NFA announces that, referring to the sampling plan, 16 samples were taken, mainly in milk, fruits and vegetables monitoring.
National Food Authority continues to work uninterruptedly on the field to guarantee food safety and protection of consumer.
