TIRANA, Aug 4 /ATA/ The Customs structures during the control exercised in conjunction with Border Police employees seized 42,000 pounds in cash which were not reported at the Customs Directorate Branch of Rinas.
According to sources from the customs directorate, during the procedure of controlling the passengers of the airline Wizz Air, the route Luton – Rinas, the citizen with the initials B.K. attempted to smuggle 42,000 pounds in cash, which were seized as material evidence.
The structures started the investigation for the offense of not reporting money and valuable objects on border.
