TIRANA, July 29 /ATA/- In the administrative unit Farka, the works for the construction of the first 48 individual houses are going ahead at a fast pace.
Minister of State for Reconstruction Arben Ahmetaj, while inspecting the works for the construction of these houses, said that, “So far, in Tirana work has started on 199 buildings, while yesterday the Municipal Council approved the list for 150 other beneficiaries”.
Minister Ahmetaj also said that, “Today, the program of 143 schools in 11 municipalities is active and moving fast. The program of individual houses has started in Tirana and today comes to a close the contracting process with the Albanian Development Fund for 677 individual units. There are 4 active sites and 4 more starting next week “.
“76 million dollars have been distributed to all citizens whose houses have been damaged from minor to moderate damage. Regarding the construction of buildings, the ADF has received with a decision of the Council of Ministers 16 billion ALL and at the end of September the works will kick off. “The same thing happens next week with” May 5 quarter “for the municipality of Tirana, the same thing will happen at the end of September and in early October we shall have the laying of the foundations in Tirana”, Ahmetaj emphasized.
