DP: Unilateral change of Constitution cannot be binding on opposition

TIRANA, July 26 /ATA/- The General Secretary of the Democratic Party (DP) in opposition Gazment Bardhi stated today that the coalitions like they are in the current form and the opening of the lists of candidates for MP cannot stand together.

He stated that, “The unilateral change of the Constitution is proof that Edi Rama continues the coalition with organized crime”.

According to him, “The elections in Albania were not harmed by the participation of political parties in the elections, but by the theft of votes. “So, the elections were damaged by the coalition with organized crime and not the pre-election coalition of political parties”.

“PM Rama is trying to break the rules of competition unilaterally, afraid of losing the elections,” said Bardhi.

He stated that, “No unilateral change can be binding on the country’s political opposition. “If Edi Rama has decided to undermine the next elections, we will do everything we can so that he bears the cost, personally, not Albania and the Albanians.”/p.s./
