TIRANA, July 23/ATA/-MP Rudina Hajdari called on the Democratic Party to support the constitutional changes that will be approved on July 30 related to the opening of the lists of candidates.
After the meeting of the Political Council, Hajdari called on every Democrat and everyone who according to her is disappointed by the servility of people entering the Parliament and does not respond to citizens’ requests to continue to support the open lists.
“Only in this way we shall bring change in the Assembly. It is definitely necessary to go with open lists in the next elections, because no more concessions will be approved in the Assembly, but laws that have to do with increasing the quality of life of the citizen “, said Hajdari.
The MPs, said Hajdari, today do not have their free wish to fight for those citizens who vote for them. “Open lists will make this possible and no one can stop this storm of change, because the country needs it. “The EU applies the same method, because it is the most democratic way”, said the opposition MP.
According to her, when we have to talk about open lists, we must have a broad political consensus, therefore, she said, “I come to the Political Council”.
