TIRANA, July 22/ATA/- The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi stated on Wednesday that the people of Kosovo have always trusted international justice, despite the fact that there is still no justice for the genocide of the Serbian state committed against the Albanian civilian population in Kosovo.
Thaçi’s statement comes in the light of the 10th anniversary of the decision of the International Court of Justice on the independence of Kosovo.
“Kosovo was built on strong foundations – the sacrifice of our best men and women who fought for freedom. 10 years ago today, the independence of Kosovo was sealed by the decision of the International Court of Justice on the right of Kosovo for sovereignty and statehood,” Thaçi said.
“To this day, we continue to believe in international justice, even though light was never shed on the crimes that Serbia committed in Kosovo. There’s no peace without justice,” President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi added. //a.i/
