TIRANA, July 22/ATA/- At the today’s meeting the Council of Ministers decided to approve the integrated management plan of Butrint National Park.
In support of the Constitution and the law “On Cultural Heritage and Museums”, on the proposal of the Minister of Culture and the Minister of Tourism and Environment, the Council of Ministers decided on Wednesday to approve the integrated management plan of Butrint National Park.
The Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and local self-government units are in charge of implementing this decision. This decision enters into force after its publication in the “Official Gazette.
The new plan will produce, in addition to the general management plan, a new business plan for the UNESCO Butrint area and the preparation of an updated GIS map for the entire 9,000 ha Butrint National Park territory. //a.i/
