TIRANA, July 20 /ATA/- The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha, in the framework of his two-day visit to Kosovo, met today with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Avdullah Hoti.
During a joint press conference, PM Hoti said that “In the meeting, we shared with Basha the concern of the situation of COVID-19 also on issues of economic recovery.”
On his part, Basha said that today I am here to support you and the Kosovo authorities at an important moment for Kosovo.
“We are naturally following with concern the progress of the pandemic this year, but I am encouraged by the package of measures that Kosovo has taken to help the citizens of Kosovo. “Kosovo’s economic package is an example for Albania, where the economic situation and that of the pandemic are very critical”, he said.
Further on, Basha congratulated Hoti on resuming the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and expressed support of the opposition in this process that has only one approach to the recognition of the Republic of Kosovo.
