TIRANA, July 18 /ATA/- The Albanian flora and fauna has completely changed and today there is a considerable number of birds but also different animals which continue to populate our country, thanks to the hunting moratorium.
From Divjaka, Minister of Tourism and Environment Blendi Klosi stated that he will lobby for the renewal of the hunting moratorium by 5 years
“I will lobby strongly to restore the 5-year moratorium on hunting in 2021 and together with the moratorium on forests, to be in a country that strongly protects Albanian nature,” said Klosi .
In Divjaka, said the Minister, we have managed to create an environment not only tourist, not only visited by thousands of vacationers, but also a scientific environment such as the Bird Hospital, a joint investment with the United Nations , UNDP.
He said that this proves “how well we are managing to turn the entire Agency of Protected Areas into an agency for the nature”.
He said the battle to revive the hunting moratorium should be an intellectual conversation and a debate that should involve all experts in the field facing a certain lobbying, which calls for the return of hunting./p.s./
