TIRANA, July 17/ATA/- “The Socialist Party (SP) has no obligation to the Democratic Party (DP) and the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) except the June 5 agreement, which it will support until the end,” said today Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the same time chairman of the SP.
PM Rama said that, “If the presidential opposition thinks that the official constitutional initiative is worth discussing in the Political Council, the SP cannot be against.”
“The SP has all the will to make every effort to convince the DP, SMI and the presidential opposition for the benefit that the constitutional initiative has for Albania, and I am ready to go to the Political Council this time by myself. And if Lulzim Basha or Ilir Meta are coming, if they want, it will definitely be even better. Ready on Monday,” he said. /m.m/ /a.g/p.s./
