TIRANA, July 3/ATA/Kosovo Customs in Durrës will not be the first station followed by a second control station in Morina, but a single station in Durrës, where the entry of all goods to Kosovo from the legislative and legal point of view must be addressed as an entrance to Kosovo at the moment when the goods are unloaded, the Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama said.
“This means that we need a technical detail of the agreement in order to prevent the bureaucracy or certain interests impeding implementation,” premier Rama added.
In a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, who is on an official visit to Albania, the premier Rama stated that, “we have discussed to further postpone the process of cooperation between the two countries.”
“It is a good omen that the Kosovo Prime Minister Hoti comes, among other things, as one of the protagonists of this whole path of cooperation, as he served in key institutional roles and neither more nor less, but has served with institutional responsibilities financial aspects of economic development,” Prime Minister Rama said.
“His undisputed experience and competence is an added value to this process. It is not about the political will, which is always there, but about the realization of the suspended agreements, as some of them are in process of implementation,” the premier Rama said.
Also, the Prime Minister Rama said that, during the meeting with his counterpart Hoti it was discussed about the unification of the documentation regarding the goods exported or imported between the two countries.
“It is impossible to talk about full efficiency if both parties do not reach a unified language at the technical level and we must not continue to ask Kosovo exporters in Albania to have documents issued by National Food Agency when they enter our country,” Prime Minister Rama stressed. //a.i/
