TIRANA, July 3/ATA/ The Independent Qualification Commission IQC dismissed today from office the Judge at Tirana’s Court of Appellate, Shpresa Beçaj.
The Judging Panel composed of Olsi Komici and Lulzim Hamitaj heard on re-evaluation subject and examined the documentation related to it. At the end, the commission decided to dismiss Beçaj from the post.
Judge at Tirana’s Court of Appellate, Shpresa Beçaj was not present at the hearing but was represented by her lawyer, Julian Mërtiri.
According to IQC, the Judge Balili has hidden wealth/ assets and made false declaration.
Judge Beçaj has not submitted the declaration of assets to High Inspectorate for the Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflicts of Interest (HIDAACI) and has not filed a statement of purity of image or professional evaluation.
