TIRANA, July 1 /ATA/ The number of exporting enterprises in 2019 increased by 5% reaching 3190, compared to 2018.
According to the INSTAT-published report on foreign trade of goods and enterprises during 2019, enterprises operating in industry dominate the exporting enterprises. These enterprises account for 81% of the value of exports.
For 2019, more than half of exports are attributed to the 50 largest enterprises (61%). The share of these enterprises operating in industry is 54%, while the share of enterprises operating in trade is 64%.
According to INSTAT data, 32% of the value of exports is carried out by companies exporting to a partner country, while 23% of the value of exports is carried out by enterprises exporting to 3-5 partner countries.
In 2019, exports of goods amounted to ALL 299 billion, while imports of goods amounted to ALL 649 billion.
