TIRANA, June 23/ATA/ In context of implementation of the special law on wealth measures against individuals convicted or accused of organized crime or serious crimes, the Operation Force of Law (OFL) sent written requests for self-declaration of wealth resources to 4 citizens involved in criminal activities.
The requests for self-declaration of wealth resources were sent to A. Gj. resident in Divjaka, convicted by the Lushnja District Court of the criminal offense “Murder committed in collaboration” and by the Court of Catanzaro, Italy, of the criminal offenses “Participation in a criminal organization” and “Exploitation of prostitution”;
Sh. Z. resident in Fier, convicted by the Court of Milan, Italy of the criminal offense “Criminal cooperation, with the purpose of trafficking and sale of narcotics”, provided by the Criminal Code of the Italian state;
P. S., resident in Fier, convicted by the Court of First Instance of Serious Crimes in Tirana of the criminal offense “Trafficking in narcotics, committed in collaboration”;
E.M., resident in Fier, after the First Instance Court for Serious Crimes in Tirana imposed the security measure “Prison arrest”, of committing the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Trafficking in narcotics”, “Money laundering the proceeds of crime or criminal activity ”,“ Criminal organization ”and“ Criminal offenses committeed by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group”.
“These individuals, as subjects of the Special Law, must respond in writing, within 48 hours, to all OFL questions and then, the answers received will be sent to SPAK, for further action,” OFL said.
OFL is carrying out complex actions to impose emergency seizures on suspected assets obtained from crime, as well as to send self-declaration forms to all persons subject to the Special Law. //a.i/
