Kosovo Assembly votes pro Hoti government

PRISTINA, June 3/ATA/ -The lawmakers of the Assembly of Kosovo voted today in favor of the Hoti government.

The lawmakers voted with 61 votes pro, 1 abstention and 24 votes against the new government led by Avdullah Hoti of the Democratic League of Kosovo.

Hoti’s government follows collapse of Albin Kurti’s government in wake of a no confidence motion by its partner in the ruling coalition, the Democratic League of Kosovo.

Kurti’s government became the shortest-serving government in the country since the first elections in 2001, just 51 days in office.

The Democratic League of Kosovo needed only 61 votes for the coalition government with the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), the Initiative, the Serbian List and other non-Serb communities./KosovaPress//e.m/p.s./
