TIRANA, June 2 /ATA/ The EU ambassador in Tirana, Luigi Soreca, stated on Tuesday that we have a momentum which we should not waste because it is in the interest of the Albanian people but also of the future of Albania in EU.
At a news briefing after the meeting with the members of Political Council, Soreca said that we had a good day of work together in the company of the members of Political Council. For EU, it is important to deliver on the condition and start the negotiations as soon as possible. The boundaries are the OSCE/ODHIR recommendations.
That’s what the European Council is asking Albania to do. Very soon the European Commission will be presenting the negotiating framework and achievement of electoral reform would make the work on this framework easier.
“I want to thank all the sides for their constructive approach and invite them to keep up this approach tomorrow,” Soreca said.
