TIRANA, May 24 /ATA/ – With the lockdown measures being eased and the phased and gradual reopening of the country underway, the exposure to the novel coronavirus increases the risk of infection and therefore each of us will have an ongoing responsibility to protect ourselves and to protect each other.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection on Sunday urged citizens to continue strictly abiding by the social and physical distancing rules and maintain personal hygiene.
Institutions and private businesses should rigorously implement the safety protocol and guidance covering key sectors of our economy in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The Ministry advises citizens to stay safe and leave the house for essential purposes only, such as going to shopping and to the pharmacy. People are advised to limit unnecessary walking and avoid unnecessary exposure to others and take advantage of the online services instead.
