TIRANA, May 22/ATA/- The EU Ambassador in Albania, Luigi Soreca commemorated today the first anniversary of the 1st Frontex Joint Operation outside the EU at the border between Albania and Greece, with border guards from EU Member States.
A year ago Frontex launched first operation outside the European Union in Albania.
“Today is the first anniversary of the 1st Frontex Joint Operation outside the EU at the border between Albania and Greece, with border guards from EU Member States.
The EU contributes with €5.9M in Albania to effective border control and tackling cross-border crime,” EU Ambassador Soreca said.//a.i/
