Looking back on protests where journalists have remained wounded”/ An attempt to distort perception on state and Police

TIRANA, May 21 /ATA/ «Looking back on the protests where journalists have remained wounded, it seems such a pity to see the views of Alfred Lela, the victim, the journalist, the victim who was attacked.

This is what PM Edi Rama said in a televised interview pointing out that he does not see any violation of human rights, but a fragment of victimization play staged for the media outlets from the moment those claiming to protect the theatre with their bodies woke up to the end in an attempt to distort the perception on the state and State Police.

“If we talk about violence, violence has its definition. When I watch the video, my first question is: What does the citizen Lela expect to see when he goes to grab three police officers by arm? Today we are in a situation where a girl there has not been caught by a male police officer, but by a female police officer, to be taken out of the area where she was not supposed to enter. Why did Lela go there, to interview the police officers since there was talk of attacking the journalist? To Lela and all of you and those who talk about violence, according to the law and all the rules and procedures, the State Police, when confronted with a crowd of protesters, does not recognize individuals, they communicate only with the rally organizers who are supposed to communicate with police directors,” – underlined Rama.

“He has crossed into the off-limits zone, he has done an unacceptable act, police have not exercised violence,” Rama said adding that the operation of police forces was in compliance with the procedure.
