TIRANA, May 18/ATA/- The teaching process for the secondary school leavers of XII grade began normally today while the pupils are continuing with the preparatory phase for the state Matura exams in the 22 educational institutions in Gjirokastra region.
Gjirokastra region Prefect Astrit Aliaj told ATA that, “Gjirokastra Regional Education Offices have taken all measures to organize the teaching process while the pupils close the 2019-2020 school year, under the terms of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
“The regional municipalities have carried out disinfections in the internal and external premises of the respective educational institutions, as well as the supply of the necessary hygienic-sanitary materials and special disinfectants for hand washing”, – said Aliaj.
According to him, all the procedures set out in the guideline of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection were implemented.
“There were no pupils with health problems or fever. In Gjirokastra-Libohovё-Dropull, the teaching process was calm, without any problems. The relevant protocol for the development of the teaching process in 10 public educational schools was strictly followed.
Teaching has not resumed only in the non-public high school “Honored Cross”. The teaching process was monitored by relevant representatives into every educational institution “, – underlined Aliaj.
While in Tepelena-Memaliaj, he continued, the process of resumption of teaching for graduates in both municipalities of Tepelena and Memaliaj started normally with all safety conditions in the 6 schools.
“In Përmet-Këlcyrë, the teaching process resumed normally in all 5 high schools, where out of 125 high school graduates planned to attend, 111 students participated. While, 14 high school graduates were absent due to transportation reasons “, – said the prefect.
