TIRANA, May 17 /ATA/ – As many as 31,000 high school graduating students are set to return back to schools across the country on Monday to prepare for their final exams as the coronavirus lockdown measures are gradually easing.
The Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Besa Shahini said on Sunday that all schools have been prepared for the students return next week.
As we have already announced, schools all over the country will partially reopen for the return of the high school graduating students from May 18 through June 5, 2020.
During this three-week period, students will attend certain classes on certain subjects to prepare for the final exam, with them expected to repeat certain programs related to the national exams in line with the guiding program, without including the subjects they have learned during the online schooling process while at home.
The process will restart in around 500 schools across the country and around 31,000 high school graduating students by strictly observing guidelines designed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, certain spacing between desks to respect social distancing, facilities for washing hands and adequate supplies of disinfectants for the hygienic rules.
