TIRANA, May 15/ATA/- The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama during an online communication with the citizens on Friday said that, “passport applications will be enabled without physically appearing to the offices. As of this week, citizens can log in to e-Albania platform and fill in the form and reserve the time and date of application for new biometric passport or ID card.
According to the premier Rama, citizens will receive a response in their e-mail after submitting the online application. “They will be required to physically appear only once in the application office in order to get their passport,” he added.
“Albanian people will no longer need to physically appear to mortgage office, as the service will be provided online via e-Albania,” the Prime Minister Rama said, while describing it a historical upheaval in the fight against mortgage fraud.
“In a few minutes, the certificate of ownership will be sent on phone, on the computer, stamped through the e-Stamping system, at the same time citizens will be able to pay online through their credit cards,” he added. //a.i/
