TIRANA, May 12/ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that, “We have not spend a single penny dedicated to Reconstruction, under the conditions when the pandemic has forced us to financially review certain items of the state budget and I am very optimistic that we will soon begin to open the first construction sites.” .
“We are in an uninterrupted process of working with all donors. Work with the EC is at a very advanced stage and we have even made it clear at the joint conference with the EU Ambassador where the direct financial support of the EU will be channeled. There is no kind of stagnation, no special situation regarding the Reconstruction funds “, said PM Rama.
The Prime Minister said further on that, “We are in the process, although we have had a delay, I believe, objectively caused by the situation of pandemics, but not on our side, just for the necessary interactions with the others.”
The prime minister informed that, “This week the Albanian Development Fund’s competition for individual houses will be financed, and I believe the work will follow up”. “The competition for schools is at an advanced stage. The first phase is over, the selection for the second phase begins and we shall begin with the reconstruction of the schools. We have also presented the reconstruction plans for the neighborhoods.
