TIRANA, May 3/ATA/- Work on reconstruction of the road “Santa Luçia” near the “Old Stadium” in Berat is progressing at a fast pace, the mayor Ervin Demo told the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA).
“Regardless the unusual situation, the municipality of Berat will move forward investments in road rehabilitation and upgrade. Currently the relevant authorities are working on the construction of a new road segment Velabisht bridge- Gorica bridge, the construction of a roundabout between two connecting roads referred to as a bypass, aimed at reducing traffic flow in the region no. 1,” Demo said.
“The rehabilitation of the whole axis to the old stadium is projected to be completed within October-November,”mayor Demo added.
“The municipality is working on the rehabilitation of Kala road axis, after many years of neglect,” he said.
According to mayor Ervin Demo, the investment in road rehabilitation and upgrade aims to attract a significant number of domestic and foreign visitors.//a.i/
