Implementation of safety protocols at work, indispensable to successfully end struggle against COVID-19

TIRANA, May 1/ATA/- On International Workers’ Day, the Minister of Finance and Economy Anila Denaj shared a simple message in a difficult situation that our country and the whole globe are going through, in a battle not only to maintain employment, but above all to maintain employees’ health and safety at work.

The implementation of safety protocols at work by entrepreneurs and every employee is a necessity to successfully wage up to the end the common struggle for the protection of life, until the release of the vaccine against COVID-19.

Denaj said that, “The focus of the Albanian government and many institutions of the Ministry of Finance and Economy is not only to help but at the same time to promote all relations within a correct legal aspect and we monitor this through the Labor Inspectorate.”

“It is also very important to maintain the health of employees. We have set some preconditions, especially to prevent the spread of this terrible disease that takes the lives of people, that limits us in relationships, that affects us in increasing and resizing the economy. In order for this not to happen again, it is very important that we see these costs as opportunities, “said Denaj./a.g/p.s./
