TIRANA, April 30 /ATA/- Inspector General Shkëlqim Hajdari said today that the rules in the façon business are harsh, but we should sit down at a table to discuss setting a protocol of measures to guarantee the health of citizens.
Hajdari said that the protocol will remain in force and all those who will not implement it will have administrative measures until criminal prosecution.
Speaking about the truth that the pandemic revealed regarding the treatment of employees in the façon industry, Inspector General Hajdari said in a TV interview that it made all of us aware, both us as the inspection authority and their leaders since a large part of workers at the façon industry cannot work with minimum wages. There the salaries are very low, the work is very heavy.
“The pandemic has made a strong radioscopy, a strong graph of the entire industry of façon in Albania. We have to formalize, standardize and develop it the same like in all other western countries “, he said.
Regarding the opposition of the red protocol by the façon industry, Hajdari said that, “All the established rules are strong, that is the truth. The façon, call centers, restaurants and bars are really environments where the rules to protect against COVID-19 must be very strong, at least for the time being, for a few weeks ”.
Regarding the exercise of controls in façon businesses, Hajdari said that “2 have been suspended in Kruja, 2 in Vlora, 4 in Gjirokastra, 3 in Tirana, and some of them, after meeting the conditions of COVID-19 protection measures, are allowed to continue working ”. /a.a//r.e/p.s./
