TIRANA, April 28 /ATA/- Macro-economic situation and the process of recovery after the COVID-19 situation were the highlight of a virtual meeting that Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, held on Tuesday with the WB team chaired by Vice President, Cyril Muller.
Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, announced that the World Bank is an important partner of Albanian Government and Ministry of Finance and Economy in the framework of the country’s economic development policies.
“We are grateful for the continued readiness to support development programs related to the fiscal aspects of governance and assistance in technical processes for management of emergency situation after November earthquake and COVID-19 pandemic,” Denaj said.
Part of the World Bank team in the virtual meeting with Minister Denaj was also Muller’s successor, the newly appointed vice-president, Anna Bjerde.
