TIRANA, April 26/ATA/- Beginning from tomorrow, the taxi service within the city will be allowed. The protocol of hygienic-sanitary measures that should be implemented by this service to prevent the spread of COVID-19 has been published on the e-Albania platform.
“Taxi service is only allowed for transport within the city. In case of control by the police, the passenger must indicate the reasons for his movement in accordance with the law”, is said in the protocol published on the e-Albania platform.
The administrator, the sole proprietor, carries out daily self-assessment of the employees if they have symptoms of COVID-19 according to the approved checklist.
In case of symptoms, the continuation of the activity by the respective person should not be allowed and the case should be reported immediately in number 127.
Every driver is obliged to state whether he has had contact with persons who were tested positive for COVID-19.
The taxi drivers must use protective gloves at all times, wear protective masks at all times, and cover their noses and mouths. Masks, sanitizer and gloves are provided by the owner subject.
The vehicle must be provided with a hygienic hand product for customers.
The passenger always sits back and diagonally with the driver of the vehicle. Only 1 customer is allowed in the vehicle in each case, even when the passengers are from the same family.
Exceptions are only cases of association with minors or persons with disabilities.
