TIRANA, April 10 /ATA/- Minister of State for Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj, tasked by the government with coordinating and managing the work between the ministries and institutions to draft a plan to cope with the economic situation in the country amid the global COVID-19 pandemic held Friday discussions with business representatives on the support measures that will be included in the new package.
In his remarks, the Minister Ahmetaj emphasized that, the government second support package will include a wide range of businesses.
“During the meeting with the representatives of Chambers and Business Associations we discussed the support measures which will be included in the new package,” Ahmetaj said.
Earlier, the Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the government’s financial package to soften the impact from the coronavirus crisis will expand further to include more business categories and those unable to work because of stay-at-home orders.
The government head noted that the expanded financial package would include other activities and small businesses like dressmaker shops, car repair shops, plumbers and workers in the public urban transport. //a.i/
