TIRANA, April 6/ATA/-The Albania Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a communication with the Albanian citizens on Monday stated that, citizens performing government-authorized activity as part of measures against Covid-19 will be allowed to use their private vehicles to travel to their workplaces to perform their employment, but in case of violation, there will be taken punitive measures, including imprisonment.

The Albanian government will loosen restrictive measures against the spread of coronavirus starting from this week and it will toughen penalties for violators.

“We will loosen restrictive measures related to the vehicle movement permits for self-employed and employees whose activities have been allowed to operate during the novel coronavirus situation,” the Premier Rama said.

“In case the citizen is driving the vehicle with a pensioner as a passenger, sanctions and strict legal measures will be applied, with the exception of health emergencies which are easily verifiable,”the Premier added.//a.i/
